All in all, I had a great time reconnecting with the industry. It was so relaxing to just cruise on the beach, take pictures and talk story with old friends. Although the waves weren't epic, the contest itself was exciting, with contestants pulling off mind-blowing maneuvers. And the various subplots made for some interesting moments.

As far as what the future of bodyboarding holds, only time will tell. But for now, the future looks mighty bright.
