Words: Tried out my Cleaner board for the second time. Rode with Fabian and Derek. I did not do too well, in all honesty. Need to fine-tune my understanding of the board. Anyway, the waves were a little too steep for my comfort. And the inside at Backdoor was supershallow. Definitely "baptized" the board with a rail ding and skeg grind. It's all good.
