Words: After heavy rains just before the weekend, my wife forbade me from surfing on the weekend due to concerns for sharks. Sigh. Just as well, surf was small. But it jumped up this morn, so I took some time off and hit the Pipe. Lots of traffic on the road for the finale of the Xcel Pro at Sunset. Pipe was very busy, with some pretty good guys out, so I only caught two small waves on the inside. West swell with two distinct peaks. Touch bigger and peakier early on. Shot some with my toy camera, for your viewing pleasure
