Words: Dawn patrol with Buddy at RRs. The rain through the month has been so unrelenting that water has turned brown around the island. Real concerns leptospirosis and even sharks, along with only fair surf conditions, has limited my surfing substantially. But the desire to surf is unquenchable, so with a small swell hitting, we decided to go for it.

Surf was pretty fun, with some fun rides to be had. Lefts were good, but the rights were even better. Sometimes you just gotta chance um.
