Conditions: Looked blown, but was really not too bad
Swell: Declining NW, with some north
Surf: 2-4' Haw'n

Words: Despite the bad winds, chanced the NS. Conditions looked bad from shore, but the waves were actually pretty fun. Shark chased out a trio of surfers at Ehukai, but we went in anyway. A friend of mine named Rod was over from the East Coast, a bellyboarder no less. He looked pretty comfortable in the marginal conditions, catching a few nuggets. I lucked into a few myself.
