Jox always photographs flatter than it really is

Swell: Semi-inconsistent, but solid north swell
Surf: 3-4'+ Haw'n

Words: Jox looked good when I first got there, but the swell dwindled rapidly. Winds were unstable, turning slightly onshore. There were a few decent sets, but the swell was definitely on the decline.

The Makani shortboard worked good for me, especially on the rights. As for the lefts and me, we didn't get along. Not on this day anyway.
