The lefts were lining up nicely at times

Words: Hooked up with Jimmy and Justin and Rich this time at small Laniakea. Mostly shoulder-high with clean conditions.

I would be lying if I didn't say I was a bit disappointed with the small surf. However, we made the most of it and had fun at the rights and lefts out there, despite the crowd. I had fun with the shortboard, and also swapped with Jimmy and used his tanker.

Still, we were all looking forward to bigger and better surf in the coming months. It was only a matter of time.
