Words: Went to Kewalos while waiting for my car to be serviced. Saw some old bodyboarding friends in the lineup. Including myself there were four of us former hardcore spongers who were riding shortboards. All of us still bodyboard, but we aren't limiting ourselves.

Surf was small, but it was still fun in the water. An occasional head-high set trickled in. Justin and I paddled over to Shallows and had some fun out there alongside some Japanese tourist. All in all, it was an adequate session.
