Unknown Grom at Backdoor

Conditions: Light offshores (east winds), clear skies, busy lineup
Swell: Dwindling NNW swell
Surf: 2-4' Haw'n

Words: Went out on my bodyboard with a decidedly blase attitude. Felt like this was a "bonus" session, so I just tried to absorb the moment. Focused (no pun intended) on shooting more than riding, but still managed to get one good one at Backdoor. Also outraced Pat O'Connell to a OTW right, which turned out to be the ride of my day. Surprisingly, there were quite a few pro surfers out in the smallish conditions. Would've thought they had enough from our previous glut of good waves. Came in satisfied.
