Unknown, contemplating a late takeoff

Surfed Laniakea at about shoulder-high. Forgot to bring my water cam, so I surfed with a little less payload. Caught quite a few fun ones, but nothing spectacular at all. It was a very unmemorable session.

I do remember a couple of military-types trying to strike up a conversation with me in the parking lot before we paddled out. Usually, I'm fairly reticent, but cordial, especially in the lineup (that's just my style).

Ended up hooking up with Cyril again, and we sneaked some of the waves between the quite aggressive crowd. We talked of making a surf video and bigger waves.

Went in somewhat satiated.
