Bill and Tom, hiding their surf spot

Decided to chance a pre-work session, making sure there was enough time to shower and prep for my work presentation. Surf was still decent at Windansea, with some head-highers in the glassy morning conditions.

Met Bill Andrews once again in the lineup. He made me promise to mention that the surf was crowded, junky and full of aggro locals. Caught some nice clean rights between picking off all the kelp on my body.

After a little more than an hour in the water, I raced back to my hotel, and eventually made it to work with time to spare, with a content feeling of starting off the day right. Btw, the brief went well despite (or because of) the early dawn patrol.
