Small south swell combined with a firm tradewind swell to throw some solid peaks at Sandy Beach, just in time for the 1st Annual Sandy Beach Bodysurfing Championships.

Decent sunrise lighting between the clouds, fun bodyboarding action at Chambers. Contest started later in the morning, and I caught the Wahine and Boys (17 and under) divs. I'm sure it got even more fun as the day progressed.
