Out of season South Shore macker

Words: Went up north hoping that the Pipe bodysurfing contest was going off. It didn't. Conditions weren't all that great and swell was more from the north. Jumped in at Laniakea anyway and caught a few funky ones.

Back in Town, family had to do some shopping. So I excused myself and checked out Ala Moana Bowls. Tahiti got slammed by the out-of-season swell, and it looked like we might get some too. It didn't disappoint.

Hung out with my friend Mike Rogers and talked surf photography (the punk has a Mark IV).

Shot just a little while, but got a few pretty good shots. Heavy, heavy, cropping, but "you get the picture."
