Words: Surf was expected to be a bit too big for even the Sunset contest, but it turned out manageable. Went bodyboarding for a little while, shoulder-hopping the smaller ones. A top-to-bottom Third Reef set sent me to the beach with my tail between my legs. Decided to jump back in with the camera and got a few shots. Lighting was suspect, and the conditions were all over the place. Had to leave early--good thing; pretty tired.
