It was huge!

Valentine's Day had a huge swell hitting Oahu. First ever Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) big wave contest at Makaha went off. I swam most of the way out, then got a generous ride from a jetski the rest of the way. I've never been so far out, way beyond the flagpole. Exciting watching these guys charge the sets. I got caught on a few, but was pretty lucky I think. Just stayed out for like three or four heats, but I had to get to work. Great way to start the day.
